This is a tutorial on how to get around the limitations of not having an expression editor in Maya LT After the game jam, I've decided to pivot a bit and focus a bit more on game play. One of the issues I was not knowing where in the world you are. So I created a mini-map. Like you see in those in flight guides, the route of the aircraft tends to curve around even when you are going straight. Also the skybox was fixed up and it works much better. Heavily borrowing from the UE4 unreal blue print system, I've created this... I'm thinking that the "blocky" style interface just will not work. It would be better to have a data driven visual programming model rather than one with loops. |
